Medium whetstone #1000 is mainly designed for High Quality Stainless Steel's blade(including Yoshihiro Damascus Knives series), such as VG10,Ginsan(Yasuki Silver-3 Steel),etc.
Before using, soak into water for mins and sharpen it.
