Sakai Takayuki 1 In stock

The Sakai Takayuki Ginsan Damascus Gyuto is a high-end Japanese chef’s knife combining premium Ginsan Stainless Steel, Damascus construction, and traditional Sakai craftsmanship.

The blade is made from Ginsan (Yasuki Silver #3 Stainless Steel), a high-quality Japanese stainless steel known for its excellent sharpness, fine edge quality, and corrosion resistance. The Ginsan core is forged with a Damascus steel outer layer, creating both functional performance and a distinctive blade pattern.

This Gyuto is a versatile Japanese chef’s knife designed for slicing, chopping, and general food preparation of meat, fish, and vegetables. Its double-bevel edge makes it suitable for a wide range of professional kitchen tasks.

The blade is forged in Sakai by Master Blacksmith Suogo Yamatsuka of Yamatsuka Cutlery, a traditional craftsman recognized for his expertise in high-quality Japanese knife production. After forging, the knife is carefully finished by skilled Sakai Sharpeners to achieve the final cutting performance.

Combining advanced stainless steel performance with the craftsmanship of Sakai knife making, this Ginsan Damascus Gyuto represents the quality and tradition of Japanese professional knives.
